School Nurse

The Hallen School Nurse

A full time registered nurse is available each school day to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate school health services. In addition to handling minor injuries and illness, the nurse is the first contact in the event of an emergency. The Health Suite is equipped to store medications as prescribed by a physician and the nurse is permitted to administer such medication as prescribed.

Required Health Forms

The nurse is also responsible for NY State Health annual reports. Therefore, annual physicals and required immunizations are to be on file in the nurses office.

The nurse supports the education process by working to assure the health of all students.
